Dr. Bolotin’s undergraduate and graduate education was intense and varied, but he never wavered from his passion for medicine. His educational years included:

  • Undergraduate studies at The State University of New York at Buffalo (SUNY Buffalo) in 2004, where he majored in biology and made the school’s Dean’s List in 2005
  • Further studies at the City College of New York, Hunter College (aka CUNY Hunter College), where he earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in 2008 with a focus in biology
  • Medical school at Saint George’s University, where received his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in 2012

What Was Dr. Bolotin’s Postgraduate Training?

Soon after his graduation, New York City’s Mount Sinai Hospital invited him to complete a rigorous surgical intern year in their Department of Surgery, where he excelled during a rigorous five-month training in vascular surgery. After completing his contract in 2013, he went on to a four-year residency program in Diagnostic Radiology at the Albany Medical Center. He learned directly from Dr. Gary Siskin, one of the foremost uterine fibroid embolization (UFE) pioneers.

In 2017, Dr. Bolotin was accepted to the coveted and highly competitive Interventional Radiology (IR) fellowship at the Indiana University Hospital, frequently regarded as one of the premier IR training programs in the world. There, he trained under the tutelage of renowned IR specialists, including Dr. Matthew Johnson and Dr. Sabah Butty.
